Joan Summers – Joan has participated as our Saturday therapeutic riding instructor since the summer of 2003. She started as a volunteer (because there was no budget to pay for her experience) and she quickly became a favorite among staff, clients, and horses. Joan exemplifies patience, understanding, and flexibility. Congratulations on earning the 2012 PATH Intl. Certified Professional of the Year in Region 11 (CA, NV, & HI).

Debbie George – Debbie began with us in 2009 and has consistently donated time, talent, and enthusiasm like no other. Her willingness to assist, step in, and be available endears her to all of us. Hooves down, Debbie is an amazing individual who deserves no less than Volunteer of the Year!

Jack – Now 34 years old, Jack is our most loving and wise horse here. As an ambassador to our program he is kind, gentle, and willing. Although he no longer carries riders he carries hearts and dreams seven days a week. With the love and hope he inspires, we’re happy to recognize him as Horse of the Year.

Ivey Ranch is a PATH Premier Accredited Center

We are pleased to share that we were granted PATH International Premier Accredited Center status on July 23rd of this year. This means we are in the top 10-15% of over 2000 equestrian centers nationwide who adhere to the highest standards in the industry. We have met, and/or exceeded, standards in administration, facility, and program management.
We have incorporated additional education and safety measures and we are now in a position to be a teaching and certifying facility for those interested in becoming PATH Certified Professionals or looking to start an equine facilitated therapy program. Congratulations to staff, volunteers, and management who have invested the thousands of hours necessary to bring our Center to the point of receiving this top honor.
