Ivey Ranch New Equestrian Center

The new stables and arenas.

Our Amazing New Donors

In August Mick and Mary Dragoo read an article about Ivey Ranch in the North County Times and decided to come down from their Escondido winery to see what we were all about. The Dragoo' s were so impressed they have jumped in feet first to help fund and build the rest of the Equestrian Center and our Child Development Center!

So far we've built the arenas and tracks, along with the 16-stall shed row barn. The Dragoo's helped to complete the barn and will help to complete the classroom, bathroom, electrical, drainage and more!   We hope to have this 1 million dollar project completed around Christmas.

Dragoo Child Development Center

This new 5,000 square ft. center will be built next to the existing ranch house. The new CDC will allow us to have a state of the art facility that can double the number of children we can serve. We hope to break ground on this two million dollar project this Spring!

Match Grant Turn Out

Thanks to the Alvin Rhynard Trust, Ivey Ranch received a $50,000 grant towards the new shed row barn. The donor had graciously agreed to donate an ADDITIONAL $50,000 if we could match it!  We did thanks to you and County Supervisor Bill Horn!

Corporate Partner, Asymtek, a Nordson Company, sponsors first arena

We would like to thank Asymtek, our most recent corporate partner, for sponsoring the first of three arenas to be built as part of the new Equestrian Center. This arena will be 100' x 200', rectangular, sand filled, and built out of Life Time Lumber: low maintenance and green,  a planet friendly decision.

On October 4, 2008, employees from Asymtek came out to put the finishing touches on the new arena as well as have an official ribbon cutting. Asymtek' s generosity allows Ivey Ranch to offer additional therapeutic riding and equestrian lessons to over 150 children and adults each year beginning November 1, 2008. We would also like to thank Volunteer San Diego for facilitating this partnership and for the continued support they provide to Ivey Ranch Park.

Foundation Partners, LA84 Foundation & Las Patronas, sponsor second arena

We would like to thank LA84 Foundation & Las Patronas our most recent corporate partners, for sponsoring the second of three arenas to be built as part of the new Equestrian Center. This arena will be 80' x 140', oval, sand filled, and built out of Life Time Lumber (low maintenance and green, a planet friendly decision). Through the generosity of LA84 and Las Patronas, Ivey Ranch will be able to offer additional therapeutic riding and equestrian lessons to over 150 children and adults each year.
