Lessons are scheduled on a month to month basis observing the following holidays:
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
New riders are evaluated during a private lesson scheduled either the last Friday or Saturday of the month.
This evaluation lesson establishes the appropriate placement within the following month for lessons.
Horse Lease Program
Any Ivey Ranch client who has fifty or more hours of lesson time at Ivey Ranch may be qualified to participate in the partial lease program with one of our gentle lesson horses; not all lesson horses are available for lease. Ivey Ranch administration will review lease applications and respond within 10 working days for horse availability and rider compatibility.
Lease Option & Regulations:
The partial lease consists of two lessons per week and one practice ride per week at Ivey Ranch. This lease ($400.00) is on a month-to-month basis and may be terminated by either party with two weeks’ written notice. The riding days will be determined in advance and cannot be changed without prior approval. Lease agreements will not be in affect during July and August.
